Ravensara (Ravensara aromatica) has a spicy, camphorous, warm scent somewhat like that of eucalyptus, only softer. It is referred to by the people of Madagascar as "the oil that heals". It has antiseptic-like properties and is high in antioxidants, scoring 8,927 on the antioxidant ORAC* scale. It helps maintain healthy lung function and also provides support for the nervous and immune systems.**
How to use: Diffuse or apply topically.
*A new laboratory test known as ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) was developed by USDA researchers at Tufts University to rate the antioxidant levels of fruits and vegetables. Essential oils have also been found through ORAC testing to have very powerful antioxidant properties.
