Each serving provides 2 g of dietary fiber, 1 g of soluble and 1 g of insoluble fiber. Both are naturally present in food and are important to health, but they are easily lost in the refining process. Each 10-calorie serving provides 2 grams of dietary fiber equal to one fresh apple without the extra calories. May cause allergic reaction in persons sensitive to inhaled or ingested psyllium.
