Marjoram (Origanum marjorana) has a woody, spicy, camphoraceous aroma. A calming oil, it has a warming effect on both mind and body. It soothes tense muscles after exercise and is beneficial for occasional simple nervous tension. Marjoram has antiseptic-like properties.*
