Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) has a sweet, spicy fragrance that is stimulating and revitalizing. Clove has as its principal constituent, eugenol, an element that is used synthetically in the dental industry for the numbing of gums. Clove is the highest-scoring single ingredient ever tested for its antioxidant capacity on the ORAC* scale.
How to use: : Diffuse or apply topically mixed with V-6 Advanced Vegetable Oil Complex. Add 1 to 2 drops to four oz. of water and use as a gargle. May be applied neat on palms of hands, bottoms of feet, and on gums and teeth. May be added to food or rice milk as a dietary supplement.
Caution: Check with a physician before using if taking blood-thinning medication.
*A new laboratory test known as ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) was developed by USDA researchers at Tufts University to rate the antioxidant levels of fruits and vegetables. Essential oils have also been found through ORAC testing to have very powerful antioxidant properties.
